The government recently announced that from May 1st 2023, VAT on Solar PV installations will be reduced from 13.5% to 0%.
It’s estimated that this will reduce the average cost of a Solar PV installation by €1,200. It will also reduce the average payback period by nearly a year, from 7 years to 6.2 years.
The change means that Solar PV is now more affordable than ever making it the perfect time to review the quote you have been given and make your deposit on your installation.
